We headed up to The Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast last weekend, we’re going to be away for Thanksgiving so Carol and Greg organized to get the family together for Thanksgiving a couple of weeks early. We had brilliant weather and enjoyed a fantastic house on the bluffs, couldn’t have asked for a better Thanksgiving location. The ocean was unbelievably calm on Sunday, Luke went in an popped three abalone in about 30 minutes, I was kicking myself that I didn’t take my diving gear to take advantage of the rare 15 foot visibility. As usual, Greg didn’t disappoint with one of his famous BBQ turkeys and Katrina’s made-from-scratch apple pie was probably the best pie I’ve ever had. Yum!
