My mum recently spent a couple of weeks in Hawaii and figured that if she was only five hours flight from us she might as well come the extra distance to say hello. It was a jam-packed five days: we hiked to Tennessee Cove on Thursday; visited the recuperating seals and sea lions at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito on Friday; rode the train at Train Town and then lunched at Carol and Greg’s on Saturday; explored the farmer’s market in San Rafael with the Bordessas on Sunday; and took a trip over to Berkeley for lunch and some shopping today (Monday). Whew! We sure fit a lot into five days. Also nice to receive a short but sweet visit from Mum’s partner Steve on his way between a business commitment in Las Vegas and Australia. Lovely to see Mum and nice for Lilia to be able to spend a few days with her other grandma.
Very special … and busy … days for both Grandmum and for Lilia!
