Today we welcomed Snugglepuff and Shirley – Max’s two 4H ewes for his sheep project this season – to the Valtenbergs household. These two are going to be a lot of work!

WOW!!! 2 lambs for the Valtenberg family. The lambs will need TLC and obedience training. Should be fun for Max’s. Is Max’s in the FFA Organization?
Welcome SnugglePuff and Shirley!! I think Max will do a terrific job with them. Yes, it will be work, but that’s where the learning happens. BTW, Susie and I had some friends that welcomed in two ewes on their property in west Santa Rosa in the 1990’s. Guess what they named them!!?? Susie and Joan!? That was when I was in UCSF going to physical therapy school. They were pretty sweet…and pretty hornery! Congratulations, Max for taking on a sheep project in 4H this season!
