The 2023 Healdsburg HFFCF Parade

The annual HFFCF parade the Thursday before Memorial Day is hands down my favorite community event of the year. So many awesome floats with thousands of people lining the streets of Healdsburg to watch it all roll through town. The Warm Springs 4H team made light work of float setup on Tucker Street early in the afternoon, the “red, white and blue” theme making for a very patriotically decorated Munselle Vineyards semi for the occasion. So many cute little kiddos decked out in their 4H garb!

It was the first year I’d accompanied a float in the parade, it was a lot of fun walking through the throngs of onlookers and seeing all the young kids so excited for the event. The pygmy horses that Mayse, Cam and Lilia lead behind the Warm Springs 4H float were a big hit with all the junior spectators. Such a fantastic way to bring the local community together… Next stop is rabbit judging at the fair bright and early tomorrow morning!
