Alexander Valley School had a student-free day today, so the kids and I took off down to the city for a day on the bikes. We started at the northern end of the Golden Gate, rode up to Battery Spencer, down and across the Golden Gate and then explored some of the singletrack through the Presidio on our way for a scrumptious lunch at Burma Superstar. So good! Lilia and I both picked the signature tea leaf salad as our favorite, Max voted for the mango prawns. One of the clearest days I can remember in the city, the ride back north across the bridge to the car was magic!
