Lilia happy as a pig in mud at China CoveLilia at China CoveLisa was working at a wine event today, so Tinkerbelle and I took advantage of the nice weather and spent a few hours hiking from the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge to China Cove.  It was quite a picturesque walk: down the bluff to Marshall Beach, over the old military bunkers above Baker Beach and then through the neighborhood of Seacliff where we took our time to take in some of the most exclusive real estate in San Francisco.  China Cove is a secluded little spot tucked between Seacliff and Land’s End, it’s protected from the swells and afforded us a brilliant view of the Golden Gate.  Lilia enjoyed herself in the sand for about half an hour before we both tucked into the lunch I brought in the pack.  A very fun day, we’ll have to take Lisa back soon!

  1. Hi Sam – I haven’t hiked all of what you did, but I have a client who lives in Sea Cliff – views of the ocean, the cargo ships and the bridge. Spectacular place! Glad you’re exporing – and maybe we’ll recruit you and Lisa as hike leaders one of these years!

  2. Another set of lovely shots of the views and the Princess. I guess it’s a lesson – sand is sand is sand all over the place. She looks like she’s really feasting there.
