Mother’s Day at the Coast

Maxie was up bright and early to make Mum a special batch of blueberry muffins, after which we jetted out to the coast to explore the newly created Estero Americano Coast Preserve. We had the beach mostly to ourselves by the time we hiked down there, but the throngs were traipsing in as we made it back to the car. A scrumptious lunch of lobster, crab and shrimp rolls at The Birds Cafe, followed by a surf for the kids and some Aerobie pinging for Lisa and I made for a killer day out on the coast!
