The kids asked to ride JDSF one last time, I’m definitely not going to argue with a request like that. It was pouring with rain as we drove out through Anderson Valley, but the drizzle stopped as we hit the coast and the damp dirt made for some exceptional riding conditions amongst the redwoods. The kids rode like champs, I’m not going to be able to keep up with Max on the climbs for too much longer!
We were not expecting to see any blue skies on the coast given rain was in the forecast for that evening, but the clouds opened up mid-afternoon for a very picturesque couple of hours enjoying Jug Handle Beach. Kids had a swim, followed by dinner at the pub, couldn’t ask for much more in a day!
