It was a laid back Christmas for us in Sonoma County, but we made the most of the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day up in Tahoe, enjoying some of the fresh snow that fell on Christmas day and the cool temps that persisted for a few days afterwards. We joined the Munselles for a couple of days at Alpine Meadows, had a family day at Squaw and then twisted Grandpa’s arm (didn’t take much twisting…) to spend a day skiing with us back at Alpine. He’s still got it at 70, cruising those slopes in style! Kids loved having him with us for the day.
What a grand and refreshing adventure! Wall climbing, included! Well done, Family Valtenbergs and Young!!!!!!! ???
