A couple of weeks ago Matt and Anna were on a sojourn to the States from their home in Melbourne, they stayed with us in-between Las Vegas and New York City for a few over Labor Day long weekend. I managed to snag some last minute tickets to Cal’s first game in their new Memorial Stadium, it was an awesome experience to see them play their first game back home to a house packed with 64,000 fans. Unfortunately the Golden Bears went down to Nevada in the last few minutes of the game, but it was great fun all the same. We also managed to steal Lisa away from the winery for a day on the public holiday Monday and we toured some of the wineries along Highway 12 near Glen Ellen, rare for her to have Labor Day off as usually the grapes are ready to go by this time of year.
