Lisa was working at a wine event today, so Tinkerbelle and I took advantage of the nice weather and spent a few hours hiking from the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge to China Cove. It was quite a picturesque walk: down the bluff to Marshall Beach, over the old military bunkers above Baker Beach and then through the neighborhood of Seacliff where we took our time to take in some of the most exclusive real estate in San Francisco. China Cove is a secluded little spot tucked between Seacliff and Land’s End, it’s protected from the swells and afforded us a brilliant view of the Golden Gate. Lilia enjoyed herself in the sand for about half an hour before we both tucked into the lunch I brought in the pack. A very fun day, we’ll have to take Lisa back soon!
